For restaurants

Friday 7pm. The host stand is buried. The phone rings anyway.

We install a voice host on your restaurant line that takes reservations, answers questions about hours and menu, handles takeout orders, and routes private-event inquiries to the right inbox. Works with OpenTable, Resy, Tock, and SevenRooms.

The flow, end to end

STEP 2
Carrier forwards

STEP 3
AI answers
Picks up in under 1 second. Speaks as your salon. Knows your services and prices.
STEP 4
Books the slot
Writes straight into Square, Cal.com, GlossGenius, or Google Calendar. Sends an SMS confirmation.
Setup is one carrier code, takes 60 seconds. On most US carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Spectrum) you dial *72 on your business phone, then enter our forwarding number. To turn it off and take calls yourself again, dial *73. We walk you through it on day 5, you keep total control.
What it does on a real call

A real reservation call, transcribed.

Agent: Hi, you have reached Tavola. How can I help?
Caller: Hi, do you have a table for four tonight?
Agent: Let me check. We have 6:15 PM or 9:30 PM tonight for a party of four. Which works?
Caller: Six fifteen. Any chance it is somewhere quiet, my mom is hard of hearing.
Agent: I can note a quiet table preference. Our back booth area is the quietest spot in the dining room. Can I get a name and number for the reservation?
Total call: 1 minute 12 seconds. Reservation lands in OpenTable with the quiet-table note for the host stand.

Common restaurant-owner questions

What restaurant operators ask the most.

What if a guest is upset on the phone?

The agent never tries to defuse a complaint. It says 'I am sorry to hear that, the manager wants to talk to you directly, can I have them call you back at this number?' and pages whichever phone you tell us. Complaints stay human.

Can it handle our weird hours? (closed Sunday, brunch only Saturday, etc.)

Yes. We map your real schedule into the agent on day 2. It correctly says 'we are closed Sunday' and offers the nearest open slot.

Do you support OpenTable / Resy / Tock?

Yes to all three plus SevenRooms. Bookings sync into your existing system, no new tablet on the host stand.

What about takeout calls?

Two paths: we route takeout to your existing online ordering page (the agent texts the caller a link), or for an extra $97/mo we take the order over the phone and push it into your POS. Most owners pick path one to avoid order errors.

Languages?

English plus Spanish for free. Mandarin and French add $97/mo each because of the extra tuning work and voice licensing.

California-compliant out of the box
California requires AI agents to identify themselves on commercial calls (SB 1001). Our agents open every call with a one-line disclosure built into the script. We also follow TCPA and CCPA standards: no recordings without consent, no resale of caller data, full transcripts to your inbox.

Tell us about your restaurant.

I personally onboard the first 30 customers, so the reply is from me, not an SDR. Mention the restaurant name, city, reservation system, and which calls you wish you stopped missing.

Bonus for the first 10 LA restaurants: we waive the $497 setup fee and cover your first month of Twilio costs. You only pay if you keep it past day 7.
